How to Become a Lawyer in Jordan
To become a licensed lawyer in Jordan, you must first obtain a law degree (LLB) from a recognized university. After graduation, you need to complete practical training (apprenticeship) under a certified lawyer or at the Jordanian Bar Association. Finally, you must pass the Bar Exam and register with the Jordanian Bar Association to practice law legally in Jordan

Which Companies or Institutions Are Required to Appoint a Lawyer in Jordan?
n Jordan, the following companies and institutions are legally required to appoint a licensed lawyer:
Public Joint Stock Companies و Private Joint Stock Companies
Limited Liability Companies with capital exceeding 20,000 JOD
Foreign companies or any of their branches
Companies or institutions registered in development or free zones, regardless of capital
Non-profit companies
Any other company with capital of at least 50,000 JO
What Happens if a Company Fails to Appoint a Lawyer Within 3 Months of Establishment in Jordan?
In Jordan, if a company or institution fails to appoint a licensed lawyer within 3 months of its establishment, it is required to pay a fine of 5 JOD per day to the Jordanian Bar Association’s fund for each day of delay
